Braintree District Scouts

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. We are guided by the values of, Care, Response, Integrity, Co-operation, and Belief.

Braintree District Scouts is made up of 9 Groups, 5 Explorer Units and a Scout Network; bringing together over 800 young people and 200 amazing volunteers to deliver exciting and adventurous programmes every week.

By 2023, we will have prepared more young people with skills for life, we will be growing, more inclusive and shaped by young people. We will make a bigger impact in our local community too.
